RESPONSIBILITIES
Most property owners are unaware of their responsibilities for drainage. A drain up to and including it's connection to the Public Sewer, even under a public highway is usually solely the responsibility of it's owner. Similarly a private sewer is the joint responsibility of all the properties served by it. The Sewerage Undertaker is wholly responsible for Public Sewers.
